Multiple Transmissions: Art in the Afropolitan Age, 25.5.19, Brussels
This May, WIELS (Centre for Contemporary Art in Brussels) will open a group exhibition named “Multiple Transmissions: Art in the Afropolitan Age”. This exhibition will show the work of African artists and is curated by Sandrine Colard (art historian, writer, and independent curator appointed Artistic Director of the 6th Biennale of Lubumbashi).
The exhibition will present the work of Sinzo Aanza (DRC), Simnikiwe Buhlungu (SA), Nelson Makengo (DRC) and Jean Katambayi (DRC), Emeka Ogboh (NG), Georges Senga (DRC), Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum (BWA) and Pélagie Gbaguidi (SEN).
