Journalist Minna Salami compares her term ‘Afropolitan’ with the term ‘Afropean’ and shares her Black feminist stance on European intellectual hegemony. Writer Lola Akinmade-Akerstrom and researcher and activist Michael McEachrane introduce us to the Nordic Afro diaspora and the complex question of Afro Swedish identity. Musicians Stephen Simmonds and Sofia Janberg offer a more rhythmic examination of the Black Swedish experience.
