The free, UK-based Africa Oyé Arts, Culture & Music Festival is back this month at Liverpool’s Sefton Park. 2024 headliners include Julian Marley, Les Amazons d’Afrique and Angolan Hip-Hop artist, Yilly Ruel. In addition, there are numerous Diaspora culture workshops – including Djemba drumming and lessons in Samba, Capoeira and traditional Haitian dance – as well as DJ sets.
