In My Footsteps – Creative Workshops

7 – 11 April 2014 10am – 5pm Daily

The third workshop series for In My Footsteps will take place daily over the week 7-11 April, and is open to people aged 16-25 and 50+ who are familiar with the Whitechapel area of London.

From our base at Rich Mix, participants will:

•    Explore the hidden streets and stories of Whitechapel with historians to uncover the secret histories of East London
•    Visit galleries and museums to learn how Whitechapel has inspired art and artists
•    Work with filmmakers and performers to capture and share their favourite locations, spaces and events using video, photos, music, sound and spoken word
•    Create a walking tour telling these stories which will be uploaded onto a mobile web platform to be shared
